Overall, a pretty decent slasher that starts off really strong but eventually goes off the rails with a bizarre third act. Still, it features some really cool kills and interesting themes. The cast helps elevate the film by showcasing flawed, layered protagonists. The twist at the end is one of the gutsiest I’ve ever seen. While I wouldn’t have done it that way myself, I respect the filmmakers for taking the risk. All in all, it’s a fun—if uneven—summer slasher that may age well with time.
